About Puggle.org

Puggle.org is an independent reference site about the Puggle (Beagle × Pug) and related designer-dog crosses. We exist because most breed-information pages online repeat the same unsourced claims from each other without saying which numbers are confirmed and which are estimated — we try to do the opposite.

What we do

Every measurement on this site (weight, height, lifespan, shedding) is labelled Verified, Estimated, or No Data, based on whether it traces back to a primary breed-standard source or is derived from parent-breed ranges for a hybrid. The full rules are on the Source Standards page.

Who writes this

Content is researched and written by the Puggle.org Editorial Team. Puggle.org's editorial team researches and maintains every breed guide on this site, cross-referencing AKC breed standards and public veterinary literature. See /about/ for how the site is run and /source-standards/ for how claims are labelled Verified vs. Estimated.

We do not currently have a licensed veterinarian reviewing every page. Where a page discusses health conditions, that is disclosed rather than implied otherwise — see the byline at the top of each article. If you are a veterinarian interested in a review role, see Contact.

How the site makes money

Puggle.org may include affiliate links (for example, to pet insurance providers or dog food brands) that earn a commission on qualifying purchases at no extra cost to the reader.
